About Texas
Lakes of Katy is a 4 Lake 3-event waterski
development located 30 miles west of downtown Houston in
Katy, Texas. Chuck Gleason, owner of EagleSports and
sponsor of the Big Dawg series resides here at Lakes of Katy.
The site was originally developed by Gordon Hall and LSF
Development in 2004. LSF Development also developed the
Lago Santa Fe ski site which hosted Nationals and the US
Open in 2002 and 2003. For the Big Dawg event, we will run
the tournament on the south lake which has plenty of room
for spectators, vendor tents, etc.
The Katy area has plenty of restaurants, hotels and shopping
just a few minutes from the site.

About Colorado
Laku Landing is a competition water ski site
located in Windsor, Colorado, near Fort Collins. Laku
consists of two lakes, the first completed in 1991, the second
in 1994. The property is run by the Laku Tournament Water
Ski Association (LTWSA), and is the host of several
sanctioned tournaments a year.
